EXTRA BY FRAPIN

Back to Cognac FRAPIN Multimillesime

EXTRA BY FRAPIN travels in style in a stylish case made-to-measure for a truly exceptional cognac.

EXTRA

Sophisticated “EXTRA” by Frapin really requires an exceptional setting. FRAPIN Cognac presents its new gift box – sumptuously understated, classic but of contemporary design perfectly suited to the finesse of this exceptional cognac.

This new box might easily be mistaken for a piece of classy luggage for those who prefer to travel light. Its original, contemporary design evokes the atmosphere of voyages to far-off lands on the classic clipper ships of yesteryear. The side of the box is fitted with an opening reminiscent of a porthole, a round window circled in gold revealing a beautiful bijou decanter and the liquid inside which sports the rich colour of tropical wood.

This beautiful, perfectly transluscent decanter invites the eye to linger on its curves, beckoning intriguingly to a taste of the nectar inside.

This venerable old cognac comes from the family’s own reserves; it was harvested, distilled and aged in oak over many years on the Frapin private estate – one of the largest estates in Grande Champagne. The colour of mahogany with coppery glints, Extra has an extremely fine, complex yet subtle bouquet of old port that mingles with the scents of cedar cigar boxes. These aromas only appear after several decades. Exceptionally long on the palate, its flavours reflect the alchemy of subtle yet complex, flavours immediately recognised and appreciated by lovers of fine cognac.

EXTRA by Cognac Frapin has always been an invitation to a voyage of the senses. In its new gift box, it will now accompany the most demanding epicureans on their voyages of gastronomic discovery.
