Harvest 2022

During 3 weeks, between the 12th of September and the 6th of October, we harvested all the grapes of our 240 hectares vineyard, located in the heart of the Grande Champagne 1er cru of Cognac. All our cognacs come exclusively from grapes grown in our vineyard.

The hot and dry weather during the summer led to a very early start to ripening.

The harvest started on 12/09 at Frapin with about 2 weeks in advance.

Most of the vines are resisting well to the drought thanks to the chalky subsoil of the heart of the Grande Champagne.

Despite the lack of rain, the bunches are growing normally. The harvest is voluminous, characterised by a good maturity (alcoholic strength between 10% and 11%) and low acidity.
