Single Family Estate
100 % Grande Champagne - Premier Cru de cognac

Elegant, supple and brilliant, gourmand, the 1990 Vintage – 30 years old is the fruit of a complex alchemy, a combination of a unique terroir, ancestral know-how and a passion for excellence. Fully signed Frapin by its voluptuous aromatic richness and its infinite length in the mouth, it is endowed with its own personality inherited from the climatic hazards of that year at Chez Piet …
Harvested, distilled and aged at the Domaine, the 1990 Vintage – 30 Years Old contains the sublime expression of our terroir located in the heart of the Grande Champagne.

Brilliant, orange-yellow, the dress flatters the eyes with a joyful glow.

The nose has delicate candied fruits aromas dominated
by orange nuances. Subtle dried fruits notes like dried
fig underscore everything. Finesse and elegance
conclude this vintage.

In the mouth it is powerful yet incredibly elegant and
balanced. Candied fruits notes like orange are
complemented with hints of liquorice and cinnamon. The
palate continues with a lingering rancio character and cigar boxes which persist through to the finish.

In 1990, within the 240 hectares of Domaine Frapin, embedded in the heart of the Grande Champagne, Premier Cru du Cognac, this vintage was born. In 1990, a grape full of promise was harvested. Behind the walls of the Domaine, it is distilled on the lees, doubly subjected to the test of fire and aged relentlessly until its soul is extracted. Then, under the control of the BNIC, the eau-de-vie, this pure gem, is entrusted to the secrecy of time and shadow, in the fragrant belly of three sealed barrels.

“Exceptional long finish.”
