Cognac Master Results !
This year, the Cognac Masters took place in London and, once again, a large panel of cognacs was examined by experienced tasters. The judges rated each participant based on their style, nose and palate. They were captivated by the quality of the products tasted this year. The highest distinction was awarded to cognac with a score of 90% or higher and a title of “Best cognac of the year” was awarded.

Best Cognac 2022 !
Château Fontpinot XO won a medal for best cognac of the year in its “XO Single Cru” category.
The judges tasted each Master medallist for a final time, before naming Château Fontpinot XO as the Cognac Taste Master 2022.
This one received the highest distinction with its “gorgeous nose” and its “well integrated” palate.
Best VSOP 2022 !
The VSOP received the Master Best VSOP medal in its “VSOP Premium” category.
A Cognac with a “rich and peachy nose” with “juicy raisins and sultanas and a drip of orange oil”.
Best XO Ultra Premium 2022 !
The XO VIP won the Master Best XO medal in its “XO Ultra Premium” category with notes of “caramelised apple” and “tarte tatin”
Best Millésime 2022 !
Vintage 1995 received a Master Best Vintage medal in its “Vintage Single Cru” category for his texture “thick, full‐bodied, almost oily” texture, “wonderful” length and “nice complexity”.
